As an ex-patriot child brought up in Canada, I was always rearranging my room and changing things
around. I always loved looking at other people’s homes and getting ideas for what I might be able
to create.
Upon my return to the UK, I finished my education and followed
a business career.
Now married to Mark, we became ex-pat adults, living in South America, South Africa, Hong
Kong and Hungary.
My passion for interior design was rejuvenated through the styling of our various homes. I then began helping new arrivals to style their homes using the contacts I had made.
Finally, returning to the UK in 2000 with my husband and two children, I met Helen who
shared my passion for interior design and over a very long coffee, Interior Style was
created.
I was born and grew up very happily in a small town in the north of England.
I then came south to the University of Kent to study maths, going on to work for IBM as a financial analyst. It was here I met my husband.
We then went on to have two lovely children. At this time I changed my focus to be able to spend time with them and renovate our homes.
My love of interior design grew from here and I used this opportunity to retrain in Interior Design.
We moved back to Hampshire in 2000 to work on yet another renovation project. It was here that I met Andi and the embers of what is now Interior Style sparked. I have never looked back.
